I am chance
I am Chance tells the story of the eventful life of a group of young girls living in the streets of Kinshasa. Street life and paradoxes: they are by turns untimely, wise, innocent, sassy, clever, impertinent, resilient and above all, free. Chancelvie and her friends face the world and its difficulties with a smile and resilience. They steal but share the booty, pass but also art. I am Chance is a snapshot of Kinshasa, megalopolis of a colorful, pop and artistic Africa. Kinshasa is the other character of the film whose thousand rhythmic voices form a chorus with those of the girls.
