Sorcerer Children, Kinshasa
Sorcerer Children, Kinshasa portrays a group of children, aged between 9 and 12, all accused of witchcraft by their families. Sent to revivalist churches that abound in Kinshasa, they are psychologically and physically tortured by unscrupulous pastors to "eliminate the devil hiding inside them". But once "delivered", these children will never be considered by their families as completely saved, and they end up on the streets of Kinshasa.

Faced with a bleak future in this lawless megalopolis, the children we follow show extraordinary energy. Music is clearly a vital escape, acting as a wonderful balm.
