SORCERER CHILDREN, KINSHASA

Synopsis

Sorcerer Children, Kinshasa paints a portrait of a group of children, between 9 and 12 years old, all accused of witchcraft by their families. Sent to the “Réveil” churches, which abound in Kinshasa, they are tortured psychologically and physically, by unscrupulous Pastors, to “eliminate the devil who is hiding in them”. But once 'delivered', these children will never be considered by their families as completely saved and they end up in the streets of Kinshasa.

Faced with the dark future that looms before them, in this megalopolis without faith or law, the children we follow show an extraordinary energy. Music clearly appears as a vital escape, it acts as a wonderful balm.
